Flash Mob Performs Ravel’s Bolero in Mexico

The video that’s causing a stir in Mexico, Ravel’s Bolero is performed by a Flash Mob in the center of Toluca. The performance, played by the Philharmonic Orchestra of Toluca and led by Maestro Gerardo Urban y Fernandez, begins with a solitary drummer in the middle of the square.

She’s joined by a flutist and then the clarinet appears. As each part expands, the individual performers appear to build the bolero to its intense finish. Enjoy!
